Bendigo Community Survey launched
Wednesday, 7 March 2012
The Hon Daniel Andrews, Leader of the Victorian Opposition and Parliamentary Labor Party, today launched a community survey on behalf of the Member for Bendigo West, Maree Edwards and the Member for Bendigo East, Jacinta Allan.
The community survey, which was launched at the Long Gully Men's Shed, will be delivered to letterboxes across both electorates from today.
"This survey is a way for the community to have their say about the issues that matter most to them", Ms Edwards said.
"Jacinta and I are keen to know what the electorate thinks, what the electorate needs and how best we can assist as their elected representatives".
"I'm pleased that Daniel Andrews has been able to come to Bendigo today to launch the surveys. As Leader of the Victorian Labor Party he is very interested and cares about what the community of Bendigo has to say and what the issues are that matter most to them".
"I encourage people to have their say and to fill in the surveys, and to return them to my office or Jacinta Allan's office so that we can have a clear understanding of what people really want and what matters most to them".
