THE BENDIGO EDUCATION PLAN
The Brumby Labor government has committed to build four new junior secondary schools across Bendigo. Once completed, every year 7-10 government secondary school student will be in new classrooms.
The four schools that are currently under construction are; Eaglehawk Secondary College, Bendigo South East Secondary College, Weeroona College and Crusoe College.
The construction of the four new junior secondary schools across Bendigo is part of the Brumby Labor government's $61 million Bendigo Education Plan (BEP). The BEP is all about providing new classrooms and facilities to ensure that Bendigo students receive the best possible public education.Rather than build one school at a time, the BEP has committed to funding for all four schools to be built simultaneously providing an important boost for jobs and the local economy.
